The Santa Rosa City Council has selected LH Housing, a developer with South Korean backing, to negotiate the purchase of the prominent 1.3-acre White House site on E Street.
The Press Democrat reports LH Housing plans a mixed-use project with over 300 apartments specifically for workforce residents. Mayor Mark Stapp emphasized that the company’s focus on this critical housing gap, along with its secure funding, were key factors in the decision.
The city and LH Housing now enter a five-month exclusive negotiation period to finalize the deal, marking a significant step toward revitalizing the downtown core.
