Thousands of people gathered across Sonoma and Napa counties Saturday for “No Kings” pro-democracy rallies.
In Santa Rosa, two marches from Santa Rosa Junior College and Juilliard Park converged at Doyle Park, where organizers estimated about ten-thousand attendees. Roughly 20 local groups hosted booths, including Indivisible Sonoma County, the Peace and Freedom Party, and the League of Women Voters.
In Petaluma, protesters filled Walnut Park before marching through downtown, while in Napa, crowds of all ages lined sidewalks and overpasses.
