The city of Calistoga has approved a multi-day rock festival to run annually at the fairgrounds starting in Fall 2026.
According to the Press Democrat, the Calistoga City Council signed an exclusive five-year deal with Ripe Productions. In return for using the venue, the city gets a $12,500 daily base fee plus a percentage of ticket sales.
The goal is to generate new revenue and revitalize the fairgrounds.
The two-day festival will expand to three days in later years, cementing the fairgrounds as a major local entertainment spot.
