SRPD Makes Four Arrests In Major Drug Trafficking Operation

In a major operation against drug trafficking, the Santa Rosa Police Department has arrested four individuals and seized significant quantities of drugs, cash, and numerous firearms following a months-long investigation.

Multiple SRPD teams executed search warrants across four Santa Rosa residences connected to an alleged cocaine trafficking group:

  • Lemuel Hutchings, 34, was arrested and faces multiple felony charges, including being a felon in possession of three handguns and possessing over $16,000 cash. Police noted he is a convicted felon and gang member.
  • Duwann Walker, 43, a convicted felon and gang member, was apprehended later. A search of his home uncovered a staggering arsenal, including an AK-47 rifle, a TEC-9 with a silencer, and nearly one pound of suspected cocaine, along with a significant amount of a cocaine variant found in a room accessible to a minor child. Walker faces numerous charges, including child endangerment.
  • Two other suspects, Kayla Brown, 36, and Lee Love, 36, were taken into custody after a brief pursuit and traffic stop. Officers recovered two “ghost guns,” a high-capacity drum magazine, and a stolen rifle from their shared residence. Both are also convicted felons with gang affiliations. In total, the operation dismantled a network involving four arrests, multiple firearms, and cash believed to be drug proceeds.

The SRPD Narcotics Investigations Team, which conducted the lengthy probe, is known for its undercover work combating the flow of illegal narcotics in the area.
