Per the Press Democrat this action directly challenges a federal lawsuit filed by owners of Evergreen Mobile Home Park, who are fighting proposed regulations after residents there faced a massive rent hike exceeding 125% and threats of park closure. Residents rallied, demanding the town stand firm to protect their stable, long-term community.
The town says the extra time is needed to update outdated local ordinances. Windsor leaders sent a clear message: they are not backing down in the dispute.
