A 26-year-old man is arrested after allegedly attacking a 70-year-old man with a screwdriver Friday following a vehicle crash in Santa Rosa.
Police said the victim was injured after confronting a woman who had crashed into a parked vehicle and called the man, identified as Thomas Barajas, to the scene. Barajas allegedly tried to stab the victim in the abdomen, then hit and kicked him while he was on the ground. The victim was hospitalized for his injuries.
Barajas was later arrested and booked into the Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, and elder abuse.
