Man Arrested In Petaluma For Damaging Former Hotel Now Used For Homeless Housing

A man is arrested Wednesday in Petaluma after allegedly damaging a room at a former hotel now used for homeless housing.

Officials say 28-year-old Zeno Salinas-Rurales barricaded himself inside the room at the Studios at Montero, threw objects, and armed himself with improvised weapons. He was tased by officers after allegedly threatening them with a broken chair. Salinas-Rurales was booked on multiple charges.

Records show he was previously arrested at the same location in July for resisting officers, assaulting an officer, and possession of suspected methamphetamine.
