Cloverdale authorities now say a 56-year-old Santa Rosa man suspected in a woman’s death shot himself in the head during a standoff Saturday night.
Lawrence Cassidy was found dead inside an outbuilding on Brush Creek Drive, where a handgun was recovered.
Toxicology results are pending.
The investigation into the circumstances of the standoff is ongoing.
