The Denny’s on West Steele Lane at the Coddingtown Mall has permanently closed.
According to the Press Democrat, the closure occurs just weeks after the 71-year-old diner chain was sold to private investors in a $620 million deal. The new owners plan to close up to 150 low-performing stores nationwide.
This location’s closure leaves Santa Rosa with only one Denny’s restaurant, located on Baker Avenue. The fate of other remaining North Bay locations is currently uncertain.
