North Bay celebrity chef and Food Network star Guy Fieri is currently recovering after a serious accident.
Per the Press Democrat, Fieri revealed in an interview with Fox News Digital that he slipped down a flight of steps while filming his new show, “Flavor Town Food Fight,” resulting in an “exploded” quad muscle that required emergency surgery.
The popular chef is currently using a wheelchair and crutches, and doctors have ordered him to stay off the leg for eight weeks.
The injury impacted his recent holiday plans, forcing his sons and nephew to take over cooking Thanksgiving dinner on the family ranch, with Fieri “quarterbacking from the wheelchair.” Fieri is expected to begin rehab on his leg following the initial recovery period.
