The search for a new Superintendent for the Sonoma Valley Unified School District is moving forward, and the process consultants will provide a community update this week.
Consultants Ron Calloway and Scott Mahoney will hold a virtual session on Wednesday, December 3rd, from 2 to 3:30 PM via Zoom to address concerns and answer questions about the process.
According to the Sonoma-Index Tribune, the consultants recommended closing the candidate search this Friday, December 5th. The Board of Trustees plans to interview candidates on January 10th and select a new Superintendent at its regular meeting on January 27th.
If no suitable candidate is found, the district plans to re-advertise the position.
