The SRPD is significantly increasing its presence in high-traffic shopping areas starting this week, including Downtown Santa Rosa, Railroad Square, and the Santa Rosa Plaza.
Officers, along with Volunteers in Police Services Downtown Ambassadors, will be conducting foot patrols—especially on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays—to offer a visible presence, quickly address concerns, and interact positively with the community.
The patrols will also extend to other busy areas like Montgomery Village, Coddingtown, and the Roseland Business District.
The SRPD encourages everyone to stay aware of their surroundings, report any suspicious activity, and remember to wave hello to the officers and VIPS Ambassadors when you see them out and about.
