One of the two suspects charged in the October killing of historic Condor Club manager Mark Calcagni has changed her plea.
Per the Press Democrat, Asia Lozano Morton, 25, of Dublin, pleaded no contest yesterday to charges related to the murder of Calcagni, who was gunned down outside his Santa Rosa home.
Morton is accused of helping her boyfriend, Richard Lund, who is charged with carrying out the shooting. Investigators believe the killing was planned and may be connected to Calcagni firing both Lund and Morton from their jobs at the famous North Beach club.
Lund remains in custody, while Morton is currently awaiting sentencing outside of jail under strict supervision. Morton is scheduled to be sentenced on January 15th.
