Portions of the North Bay were shaken Sunday afternoon by a magnitude four earthquake centered in east Sonoma County.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake struck just before 3:30 p.m., about three-point-seven miles west of Glen Ellen and one-point-two miles underground. Moderate shaking and light damage were reported within two miles of the epicenter, while areas farther out feel only light shaking.
The tremor was felt as far as San Jose, about 87 miles southeast.
A three-point-one magnitude aftershock occurs eight minutes later, followed by a three-point-four magnitude quake at 4:04 p.m. near Kenwood.
