Southwest Airlines will add more flights from Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport to Denver, even before officially beginning service.
The Dallas-based airline initially planned Saturday-only flights but will start flying five days a week beginning August 26th, adding Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays, and Mondays. Airport officials say demand and advanced bookings justify the expansion, with potential for even more flights in the future.
The news comes as the airport nears the end of 2025 with a revised passenger forecast slightly below the previously expected 800-thousand, which would have surpassed the 2024 record.
