Santa Rosa is gearing up for a hundred-million-dollar construction boom in 2026.
Major projects include the long-awaited Highway 101 pedestrian bridge near Coddingtown and extensive road reconstruction on Calistoga Road and Hopper Avenue.
Parks are also getting a boost, with twenty new pickleball courts coming to Howarth and Galvin parks and the start of the new Kawana Springs Community Park.
Public works officials say the surge is part of a new effort to finish projects that have been sitting on the shelf for years.
