Sonoma To Welcome New Daytime Care Program For Adults With Dementia

A new resource is coming to Sonoma Valley to support families navigating the challenges of dementia and memory loss.

The Sonoma Index-Tribune reports Today & Together, a new nonprofit adult day center, is scheduled to open its doors on the Hanna Center campus on January 5th. The organization provides specialized weekday care for adults with cognitive challenges, offering activities like music, art, and exercise, along with hot meals provided by the Hanna Center.

Executive Director Christina Gonzalez says the program is designed to provide participants with a sense of purpose while offering caregivers much-needed respite. The center will operate weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a daily rate of $150 and a sliding scale available for those in need.

The community is invited to tour the space and meet the team during three upcoming open houses on January 8th, 13th, and 15th. For more information, visit the campus at 17000 Arnold Drive.
