All Water Advisories Have Been Lifted

The recent water advisory has been lifted for local river and coastal spots today after testing confirmed samples are safe following last week’s Guerneville sewage spill.

While popular spots like Johnson’s Beach and Goat Rock are now within health standards, officials remind you to stay out of the water for at least 72 hours after any heavy rainfall due to storm runoff risks.

Environmental Health Director Christine Sosko also recommends a quick rinse for both you and your pets after any swim to stay healthy year-round.
