A wave of local protests is set for this afternoon as North Bay residents join the national “Free America Walkout.”
Per the Press Democrat, organized by the Women’s March to mark the anniversary of President Trump’s second inauguration, walkouts are planned in Santa Rosa, Napa, Petaluma, and Sebastopol.
Most events begin at 2:00 p.m., including a large gathering at Santa Rosa Junior College and several local high schools. Drivers should expect increased pedestrian activity near city centers and campuses through late afternoon.
