Montgomery High School supporters cracked into 640 pounds of fresh crab this past weekend for a good cause.
According to the Press Democrat, the Montgomery Education Foundation’s 16th Annual Crab Feed drew nearly 170 people to the Friedman Event Center, raising $18,000 for local high school and junior high programs. The night featured music from former students and the cast of the upcoming production of The Wizard of Oz.
Highlights included over $2,000 in scholarship donations from the school’s wrestling coaches and a bake sale that raised an extra thousand dollars for a safe, alcohol-free Project Grad celebration.
