Santa Rosa police kept busy over Super Bowl weekend, arresting eight people for driving under the influence, including two drivers who caused crashes on Fountaingrove Parkway and Montgomery Drive.
One driver was found to be twice the legal limit when he crashed into a building, but officials say proactive patrols are working—DUI-related collisions in the city dropped 14% over the last year.
The department says these extra patrols are funded by state grants and remain a top priority to keep local roads safe.
