Santa Rosa police have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with a wave of gang-related graffiti that targeted several businesses and city property along 7th and Donahue Streets.
Investigators used license plate reader technology to identify a suspect vehicle, which led to a traffic stop on Saturday where officers found used spray paint cans and cocaine inside the car.
The driver, Erick Francisco Lara Garcia, now faces felony vandalism and gang-related charges as the department continues its push to crack down on local gang activity.
