A tragic rollover crash on Highway 101 south of Petaluma has left one woman dead and two others fighting for their lives after a BMW lost control and careened off the roadway Wednesday night.
California Highway Patrol investigators say both passengers were ejected from the vehicle near Petaluma Boulevard South, and while one died at the scene, the driver and a second passenger were rushed to the hospital with major injuries.
The CHP believes high speed and slick roads played a major role in the crash, which remains under active investigation.
