The popular Latino music festival La Onda has abruptly canceled its third edition scheduled for this May, leaving fans and performers in the dark without a clear reason for the shutdown.
According to the Press Democrat, organizers for the Napa Valley event—a spinoff of BottleRock—confirmed that while the 2026 show is off, they remain hopeful for a future return.
The news comes as a major blow to the region’s music scene, as this year’s lineup was set to feature global superstars like J Balvin and Christian Nodal.
All ticket holders will be automatically refunded within 30 days, but with social media comments disabled on the festival’s accounts, many fans are left voicing their frustrations elsewhere online.
