The local music scene turned up the volume for a cause this past weekend, as more than 250 fans packed HopMonk Tavern to support the Sebastopol Apple Blossom Festival.
According to the Press Democrat, the benefit concert featured eight local acts and raised over $4,000, which will go toward funding the festival’s 80th anniversary and other community programs hosted by the Sebastopol Chamber of Commerce.
This year’s “Blossoms of Oz” themed celebration kicks off with a parade on April 25th, followed by a full weekend of live music and festivities. If you missed the fundraiser, you can still grab your spot at the festival—discounted presale tickets officially go on sale March 1st at the event’s website.
