Petaluma’s Target store was the scene of two separate theft incidents Thursday, leading to the arrest of four people in a single evening.
According to the Petaluma Argus-Courier, the first incident occurred around 6 p.m. Police say 36-year-old Jayce Meri was caught after a foot chase, while his alleged accomplice, 51-year-old Kathleen Kolthoff, was found hiding in a nearby TJ Maxx restroom.
Officers recovered suspected fentanyl and stolen property from a Novato Target during the investigation.
Just four hours later, officers returned to the same store for a second theft. This time, 33-year-old Camren Boudreaux and 37-year-old Tyler Nelson were taken into custody. All four suspects were booked into Sonoma County Jail on various theft and drug-related charges.
