Craft and home decor giant Hobby Lobby is eyeing a significant expansion in the North Bay with plans for a new location in Rohnert Park.
The retailer has officially applied for permits to breathe new life into a large, vacant commercial anchor on Rohnert Park Expressway.
The proposed project involves converting the former 67,000-square-foot Valley Furniture site into a sprawling retail destination. This move follows the company’s broader growth strategy in California, where it already operates dozens of stores.
With another North Bay location currently under construction in Petaluma, the Rohnert Park store would further solidify the brand’s footprint in Sonoma County.
