A third wave of “No Kings” demonstrations is hitting the North Bay this Saturday, March 28, with rallies planned in over a dozen local communities.
Per the Press Democrat, organizers from Indivisible Sonoma County are bracing for record turnouts, projecting up to 15,000 participants in Santa Rosa alone.
The local events are part of a national movement protesting perceived corruption and abuses of power within the current administration. Major marches are scheduled for 3 p.m. in Santa Rosa, while morning rallies will take place in Petaluma, Sonoma, and Sebastopol to ensure maximum county-wide coverage.
Each event features a mix of live music, art installations, and volunteer peacekeepers to maintain a safe, community-focused atmosphere. From the coast in Bodega Bay to the vineyards of Napa, activists say the growing scale of these protests reflects deep regional engagement.
Residents should expect significant pedestrian crowds and rolling traffic delays near town squares and major intersections throughout the afternoon.
