Santa Rosa Police Launch Community Traffic Safety Forums

The Santa Rosa Police Department is kicking off a series of neighborhood meetings tonight to tackle local traffic concerns like speeding and roadway safety.

Funded by a new state grant, these quadrant-based forums allow residents to speak directly with officers about the specific issues affecting their streets. The first session takes place this evening, April 16th, at Roseland University Prep from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

Additional meetings are scheduled through June at locations including the Santa Rosa Bible Church and New Vintage Church. Police officials say feedback from these sessions will be used to develop long-term solutions and improve neighborhood safety.

Residents unable to attend can still submit their concerns via email to the department’s traffic collaboration team.
