Santa Rosa Police Seize Illegal Machine Guns In Multi-City Raid

Santa Rosa Police arrested a 19-year-old suspect Thursday following an investigation into the sale of illegal “Invisiglock” switches. These devices, which convert standard handguns into fully automatic weapons, were reportedly being sold throughout Sonoma County.

During search warrants served in Concord and Vacaville, officers detained Enzo Lafrades after he allegedly tried to flee and discard a loaded firearm. A search of his vehicle and residence uncovered multiple automatic weapons, including a Tech 9 and an Uzi, along with several switches packaged for sale.

Lafrades has been booked into the Sonoma County Jail on multiple felony charges, including possession of machine guns and carrying loaded, unregistered firearms. The bust was led by the SRPD Special Enforcement Team, a unit specifically designed to combat the rise of illegal weapons and gun violence in the city.
