A Santa Rosa man is behind bars after allegedly threatening someone with a handgun during an argument early Monday morning.
Police rushed to the 500 block of Greenwood Drive just after 2:00 a.m., where they detained 46-year-old Roosevelt Aaron nearby without incident.
A subsequent search of the property turned up a loaded .40-caliber semi-automatic pistol hidden in the backyard along with a stash of cocaine. Investigators say the drugs were packaged for sale, leading to additional narcotics charges.
Aaron was booked into the Sonoma County Jail for assault with a firearm and possession of a controlled substance while armed, with bail set at $50,000.
