The Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce is moving in a new direction, announcing a major leadership restructuring following the departure of longtime CEO Tallia Hart.
According to the Press Democrat, instead of a single chief executive, the nonprofit will now hire two separate executive directors to split the workload and better support the local economy. One director will focus exclusively on the Chamber’s business members, while the other will oversee the Healdsburg Tourism Improvement District.
The Tourism District manages the revenue from a two-percent assessment on local hotel stays to promote the area as a destination.
Board Chair Heidi Dittloff says the new dual-leadership model, along with additional support staff, is designed to fuel both local business growth and a thriving tourism industry.
Hart, who had led the organization since 2019, stepped down earlier this spring to pursue a new professional opportunity.
