Massive West Coast Trade Show Returns to Santa Rosa

The West Coast Trade Show is taking over Grace Pavilion at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds this Sunday, showcasing the best in barbering, nail design, and braiding.

The Press Democrat reports founded by local barber Jesus “Chuy” Dominguez, the event has exploded from a small shop gathering to a massive regional attraction featuring over 100 vendors and high-stakes competitions.

Top talent from across the country will compete for $7,000 in cash prizes and massive trophies, with judges looking for everything from classic fades to intricate 3D nail art.

Beyond the competition, the show features live music, a mechanical bull, and educational seminars focused on financial literacy, social media strategy, and mental health. Organizers say the event is a vital networking hub where rising stars can land brand sponsorships or even new jobs by showing off their skills in front of industry leaders.

Doors open this Sunday at the Fairgrounds for what is expected to be the largest turnout in the event’s three-year history.
