A suspect is in custody following a string of recent vegetation fires in northern Sonoma County.
Sonoma County Sheriff’s officials announced that the man was arrested Tuesday after investigators linked him to multiple blazes set between March and May near Cloverdale. Authorities state that the fires burned local vegetation and forced rapid responses from area firefighters to prevent further spread.
Detectives have not yet released the suspect’s identity or a potential motive, noting that the investigation remains active and ongoing.
