Lombardi’s Gourmet Deli and BBQ at the north end of Petaluma Boulevard has officially unveiled a newly expanded parking lot just in time for the busy summer season.
Per the Petaluma Argus-Courier, workers recently converted a portion of the restaurant’s front lawn and picnic area into asphalt blacktop, creating an extra 20 parking spaces for customers. The expansion is aimed at eliminating the headache of driving in circles for hungry locals picking up quick takeout dinners or pulled pork sandwiches.
While the iconic grassy area is a bit smaller now, the bustling, family-friendly gathering spot still features plenty of picnic benches and umbrellas for outdoor dining.
Management hopes the additional parking will make grabbing a bite at the popular local favorite smoother than ever.
