Santa Rosa police are reporting an assault targeting a 15-year-old Montgomery High School student. The boy was attacked while walking home from school on Wednesday, in a neighborhood just east of the campus. Two other students allegedly kicked him and stole his shoes. Detectives call it a gang-related incident. The student did not report the assault to school officials or police.
