The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors is approving an agreement for a tribal casino-resort project near Geyserville. The project will be on the site of the current River Rock Casino. Dry Creek Rancheria wants to build the new casino-resort on its Alexander Valley land. It will feature a hotel with nearly 300 rooms, a 60-thousand-square-foot casino with up to 15-hundred slot machines, a wedding chapel, a spa, and other amenities. This agreement replaces one made between the county and tribe in 2008. It allowed for an even larger hotel and casino, and more gaming devices.
