It’s already time to start preparing for wildfires. State Senator Mike McGuire is hosting a virtual town hall on wildfire preparedness and prevention. It coincides with CalFire Wildfire Preparedness Week, May 1st to May 7th. The town hall will cover how the state is responding in this era of mega fires, what type of expanded resources are available this summer and fall to protect our communities, and what folks can do to better prepare themselves for wildfire season. State and local fire chiefs will provide the very latest updates and answer questions. It will be tomorrow at 6:30 PM on the State Senator’s district website and Facebook page.
