Sonoma County residents headed somewhere for the Fourth of July might be better off filing up their gas tanks elsewhere. At $4.94 for a gallon of regular, Sonoma County has the most expensive average gas price in the North Bay right now. Napa County is a close second at $4.92. But, Sonoma County’s average is at least unchanged from a day and a week ago. The statewide average is up one cent today to $4.84 per gallon.
