Novato police have a warning for people: Beware of bears. A mother bear and her two cubs were spotted near Miwok Park at about 7 o’clock Sunday evening. Novato police say people should exercise extreme caution in that area, and be extra alert in areas that are heavily wooded or have a lot of brush.
