Homeless Identified As Cyclist Who Died in Collision with Truck in Rohnert Park

A bicyclist who was killed in a collision in Rohnert Park is being identified as a homeless woman. Fifty-one-year-old Sarah King was riding a bike last Friday on the east side of Commerce Boulevard just south of State Farm Drive when she was hit by a pick-up truck coming out of a parking lot. The driver stopped and emergency officials were called and took King to the hospital. She was pronounced dead at the hospital. The driver is cooperating with police as the collision remains under investigation. Neither drugs nor alcohol appear to be involved.
