A man found dead outside a burning barn in Covelo has been identified. The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office say the fire happened this past Saturday evening. Firefighters found 68-year-old Phillip Busbee unresponsive and outside of the burning structure. Investigators found out that there were numerous propane tanks, gasoline tanks and generators stored in the barn and Busbee was inside when the fire started. The coroner is still trying to determine the cause of death.
