Mendocino County authorities are looking for a suspect who shot a man in Hopland. Thirty-seven-year-old Jesse Connolly is being charged with attempted murder for the July shooting. A declaration in support of a warrant was also filed but an arrest warrant has not yet been issued. It wasn’t expedited because Connolly has three other warrants out for his arrest unrelated to the shooting. The shooting occurred outside of a residence in Hopland Rancheria and is believed to stem from a disagreement. The 41-year-old victim was taken to a nearby fire station and then airlifted to a hospital with life threatening injuries.
