The Santa Rosa Violence Prevention Partnership will host the annual Violence Prevention Awareness Seminar at the Finley Center in Santa Rosa on November 2nd. The seminar was on a three-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year’s event will focus on violence prevention, particularly issues impacting the community post-pandemic. Luis J. Rodriguez, author of ‘Always Running’ and former Poet Laureate of Los Angeles, will give the keynote address. SRPD will provide an update on city gang activity. There will also be a panel discussion with violence prevention professionals from California.
