A man is behind bars after a six-hour police standoff at an apartment on Lakeville Circle in Petaluma. Police say, on Saturday night, Kenneth Massucco barricaded himself inside an apartment with a woman who he had assaulted. Officers were able to arrest Massucco and free the woman after forcing their way inside the apartment. It took more than six hours before the standoff ended. The woman was hospitalized with significant, but non-life-threatening injuries. Massucco had an emergency protective order against him that banned him from being at the apartment or contacting the woman.
