Hearing Around Controversial Sebastopol Restaurateur Postponed

The Sebastopol Planning Commission is pushing back a hearing to decide if a controversial restaurateur accused of sexual harassment should be allowed to work at one of his restaurants. Commissioners postponed the hearing for Lowell Sheldon on Tuesday because they lacked a quorum. Sheldon is asking that he be allowed to work at his restaurant Piala and that he also be allowed to drink alcohol while there. Sheldon was forced out of three restaurants in 2021 after multiple people came forward saying he sexually harassed them. The hearing is now scheduled to take place October 24th.
