Bank Robber Arrested in Guerneville on Monday

A homeless man has been arrested for robbing a bank in Guerneville. On Monday afternoon, the man, later identified as 35-year-old Bradley Bennett, went into the bank on the 16000 block of Main Street and gave a teller a note demanding money. When the teller refused, he grabbed money out of the teller’s drawer and walked out of the bank. Deputies were called in and searched the area and quickly found a man matching the suspect’s description under the walking bridge. As they approached him, Bennett got into a car and refused to get out. Deputies were able to remove Bennett from his car, arrested him, and found the stolen money in his pants.
