A house fire in Rohnert Park has displaced a family of 8. Early Tuesday morning, a fire was reported at a two-story house on the 900 block of Dorine Avenue. All 8 residents made it outside and firefighters were able to contain the fire in about 20 minutes. Seventy-five-percent of the home’s interior was damaged preventing the family from returning. They got aid from the Red Cross and stayed with relatives. The fire was determined to be accidental and likely started by a small appliance in a sun room next to the kitchen.
