Firefighter Suffers Minor Injuries During Fire Near the Joe Rodota Trail

A firefighter has minor injuries after battling a fire at a commercial building in Santa Rosa. The fire was reported late Sunday morning, near the Joe Rodota Trail. Firefighters tried to stop flames from destroying a wood-framed steel barn that was being used to house cars and RVs. But, they had to back off for a while after coming across live, downed powerlines. The cause of the fire, which did an estimated 185-thousand-dollars in damage, is still being investigated. The firefighter was taken to a hospital, treated, and released.
