Man Arrested Near Downtown Santa Rosa After Several Violent Acts

A man is behind bars and facing seven felony charges after a series of violent incidents just north of Downtown Santa Rosa. Police say on Monday night, Indugo Williams allegedly threw a brick through the back window of a vehicle with someone inside, and threw rocks at several other vehicles in the area. Officers also received a report of the man holding a rifle, but it turned out, he was armed with a shovel, which he allegedly swung at passing patrol cars. Williams set the shovel down, but was bitten by a police dog after trying to pick it back up. He is due in court today.
